HKliving Doris Fluffy Throw In Blue

DORIS for HKLIVING: fluffy throw blue (130×150) We are passionate about design, fashion, prints, vintage and craftsmanship and love to work with kindred spirits. It was love at first sight with DORIS vintage! That’s why a co-creation between two Dutch vintage loving brands was the only option. So may we present, with pride: DORIS for HKLIVING! DORIS’ work has inspired us before, to give our iconic HKliving lobby bench a vintage touch up, with a DORIS vintage floral print. Our cushion collection could do with a fresh spring look as well. Together with DORIS vintage, we designed a mix of (vintage inspired) double sided printed cushions, made of luxury fabrics silk, wool and satin. The luxury piping is the ultimate finishing touch for these new DORIS for HKLIVING luxury cushions. Kim Wijte is the vintage treasure hunter behind DORIS vintage. Her found treasures include: floral, boudoir, and ‘très chic’ patterns. Mainly found in clothing, but in our collaboration we decided to take it a step further. Dutch brand HKliving draw influences from all four corners of the globe to create their eclectic range of home accessories for modern homes. In contrast to Scandinavian brands who prefer a minimalist, ‘less is more’ aesthetic, HKliving’s style nods to diverse cultures as well as looking to the past, especially the 1970s era, to create their irreverent range of home accessories. Think Darwin-esque paperweights containing suspended jellyfish, cushions printed with Japanese style patterns, and ceramic plates, cups and platters inspired by a bohemian aesthetic.
